It Wasn’t Another Woman. It Was Her Fear.

When Nothing Was There… Yet

Women sense things.
Uneasy. Suspicion. Something about him feels off...or so you thought.

You don’t know why, but suddenly, your heart is alert.
You feel distant from him... even if he’s right beside you.
And before you even realize it, your mind begins searching.

“Is he hiding something?”
“Is there someone else?”
“Why is he pulling away?”

The truth is…men retreat sometimes.
Not always because of another woman.
Not even because something is wrong.
It’s how they process, recalibrate, protect their inner space.
But to a woman’s heart, it can feel like distance.
Like disconnection. Like a threat.

And so you start checking. Watching.
Feeling unsettled when he takes too long to reply.
Suspicious when he seems distracted.
Your attention turns fully toward him, and away from yourself.

You bring it up to your girlfriends.
You tell them what you’re sensing.
And of course... they agree.
They say, “Something’s off. I think you’re right.”
Now your fear feels justified.
And the obsession begins.

You go deeper into proving what can’t be proven.
You begin looking for her. Even if she never existed.

The softness you had begins to tighten.
The openness you shared becomes guarded.
And the space between you shifts.

Not because there was another woman.
But because your energy is no longer anchored in you.
You are now orbiting him.

And the more you try to hold on, the more you energetically push him…
until one day, he actually meets someone else.

You feel validated.
“I knew it,” you say.

But the truth is…maybe she didn’t exist at all in the beginning.
Maybe it was the energy...
the fear, the tension, the disconnect from yourself...
that shaped the path.

Not your fault. Not his.
Just an unconscious dance.
One that many of us never realize we’re doing.

Until we do.

💫A quiet note from my heart :
I’ve felt it too.... that sinking pull in the heart when something feels off. I’ve peeked once or twice, just to make sure… but each time, it felt worse, not better and so, I stopped. It took me a while to understand... it wasn’t about another woman. It was about the part of me that needed reassurance… from myself.

I occasionally write personal reflections for those who want to understand their patterns more clearly.

I Don’t Need to Prove My Worth Through Struggle

I don't know when it started, this idea that women need to be the strong, tough ones all the time.
We’re expected to fight for our place, in society, at work, even in our own families.

But honestly, deep down, I’ve always felt that women are meant to be loved.
To be supported.
To be taken care of, not because we’re weak, but because we carry so much already.

Somehow, the world made it normal for women to always push through,
to always hold it together,
to prove we can handle everything on our own.
And while yes, we can be strong…do we always have to be?

I believe it’s okay to want softness.
To want to be held instead of holding everything.
To want safety, love, and space to just be ourselves, without needing to earn it.

Being cared for doesn’t make us less.
It allows us to be more of who we truly are.

This is what I wish more women knew.

How Do You Feel When You Hear About Your Ex’s New Life?

I was on a short trip with my bestie recently when I found out some news about my ex. (I haven’t been on social media for some time now, and of course, I had already unfriended him.)

Let’s rewind a little.

This man I was with for 11 years wasn’t a bad person, and he treated me alright...at least, that’s what I thought. Honestly, I never really felt that he was “the one,” but I stayed… and that’s how we ended up together for more than a decade. Along the way, we fought...almost every month...sometimes big, sometimes small. I used to tell my besties that my gut was telling me we weren’t right for each other. But I ignored it, and just kept going.

(P.S.: At one point, we even talked about getting married.)

In our 10th year, something finally shifted. I made the decision to break up. It dragged on for a few more months, and we finally ended things on the 11th year.

Recently, I found out that he got married about six months ago...after dating his wife for only a year or so. From what I hear, he’s living a joyful, luxurious, and comfortable life. That hit me.

It made me realize:

We should have ended much earlier.

We wasted too many years together.

We were both too tired, too afraid to let go.

After hearing about his happiness, I felt deeply depressed. Not because I wanted to be with him...but because I felt so stupid for not leaving sooner. He’s now giving someone else the kind of care and generosity I never received from him. That alone proves we were never truly right for each other.

But here’s what I also realized:

Back then, I didn’t truly love myself.

I didn’t know how to.

I ignored my own unhappiness.

I dismissed my gut feeling.

I silenced my needs, over and over again.

And now? My heart hurts...not because I lost him, but because I tortured myself for so long. I even had a moment where I imagined going in front of him and telling him off — asking why I was never worth his best.

But I know now:

When a man truly loves you, he gives without you needing to fight for it.

You don’t need to sacrifice yourself for someone’s incapacity.

A man who loves you won’t string you along for 11 years without committing.

So this is my only conclusion:

From now on, I choose me.

I choose to love myself, care for myself, honour my own feelings.

If you want others to love you, you must love yourself first.

Waiting for someone to love you when they can’t...that’s the most torturous and foolish thing you can do to yourself.

I’m still hurting.

But I hope I can overcome this pain, and move forward soon.

And lastly…

I wish you all the best in finding someone who can love you as much as you love yourself. 💗

The Quiet Art of Letting Others Find Their Way

Sometimes, caring too much can feel like a burden…to others and even to ourselves.

When someone comes to you and shares their problems, it doesn’t always mean they’re asking for advice. Often, all they really need is someone who listens…quietly, fully, without trying to fix anything.

There are many ways to care for someone. Giving advice can feel fulfilling, especially when it’s received with appreciation. But not everyone will choose to follow what we suggest…and that’s okay. Each person has the right to walk their own path, in their own way, at their own pace.

For example, when a woman shares her struggles at work or with her friends to her husband, he may quickly offer advice to try and stop her from feeling unhappy. While his intentions are good, this can often make her feel more misunderstood, not less.

Or when friends confide in us about pain in their relationships or family life, we might feel the urge to jump in…to fix, to guide, or even prove that our way might work better. Parents, too, often rush to solve things for their children, thinking it will ease their burden.

But sometimes, the kindest thing we can do…is just to trust.

Trust that they will find their own answers.

Trust that being there…fully present and supportive…is more powerful than any solution we could offer.

Everyone deserves the freedom to choose their own way. And we can love them, deeply and unconditionally, even as we let go.

Should I Marry Him?

"Should I Marry Him?"

This is one of the most common questions people ask themselves before making a big decision in love.

After going through some experiences of my own, I’ve finally found my answer...at least, the one that feels true to me.

People might say, “If you love him, then yes,” or “It’s been so many years together, so you should,” or even “He treats you well...why not?”

None of these are wrong. But they also shouldn't be the only reasons you decide to marry someone.

For me, it comes down to one thing: If the feeling is right, then yes.

Not from overthinking, weighing every pro and con, or trying to predict the future. Because people change. Life shifts. Nothing is fully certain.

But your heart knows.

So now, I’ve learned to trust that quiet inner clarity.

If, in that moment, it feels right deep inside... not forced, not anxious...just quietly right…

Then yes. I will say yes.

Thank you Grandma. I Love You...

I grew up in a broken family.
My grandmother took care of my sisters and me from a young age.

Recently, I was watching a TV drama and noticed how some elderly people feel embarrassed about using adult diapers or walking sticks as they grow older.

Don’t worry — I’m not here to convince anyone not to feel that way. I just want to share something about my grandma.

I’ve always wondered how she could be so brave and so proud of who she is.
There was one incident — she slipped and fell because of an old pair of slippery slippers. I came home from school and found out. My heart nearly stopped.

Thankfully, her children really cared for her. She recovered fairly quickly after some therapy and a short stay in the hospital.

But as we know, a major fall at that age usually leaves some side effects. She had to start using a walking stick, especially to support her weight (yes, she was quite a fatty grandma ❤️). But what amazed me was — she never felt embarrassed about it.

She used it because it was useful. She needed it. Simple as that.

A few years later, she started having urinary incontinence (I hope I’m using the right term). But instead of hiding it, she requested to use adult diapers. She didn’t want to wet her underwear.

Not everyone ages this way. Some people are healthy and strong even in their old age. But I just want to say — I’m so proud of her.

She was completely herself. She used what she needed. She was comfortable being real.

Of course, there were so many other things about her that I love and that I’ve learned from. Through her actions and presence, she taught me a lot about what love really is.

She passed away in 2007 at the age of 81.

And today, I just want to say:
I love you, Grandma. I miss you. Always. 💓💗

When No One Says Thank You…

Do You Do It for Love, or for Praise?

Have you ever found yourself doing something kind or thoughtful for others...and deep down, hoping for a thank you, a bit of appreciation, or maybe even a returned favor?

Let’s say you love to cook. You pour your heart into preparing meals for your family or friends, and it makes you feel warm inside... especially when they finish everything on the table, or give you compliments. But what if, one day, they’re too tired, too full, or just not in the mood to eat, even after all your time and effort?

Would you feel hurt? Unseen? Maybe even angry inside, like your heart’s on fire?

It’s okay. Those emotions are completely normal. Many of us experience this...the sting of being unappreciated, even when our intentions were good.

But here’s a little perspective I’ve learned and would love to share.

If you truly enjoy cooking (I do too, by the way 😊), does it really need to depend on others’ reactions? If they don’t say thank you or don’t eat as much that day...does it make your effort any less meaningful?

When you do something from the heart, out of joy, love, and self-expression...not obligation...then appreciation becomes a bonus, not a need. If you begin to feel like you have to do something, that’s when resentment or disappointment can sneak in.

So instead, do it because you love it. Because it makes you feel good.

This mindset applies to everything...not just cooking. Whether it’s advice you offer, help you give, or the effort you put into anything… if it comes from pressure or needing validation, you’ll feel empty when no one notices. And eventually, if you keep following what others tell you to do, without listening to yourself...you’ll lose your spark. You'll start to feel like a lifeless version of yourself, just drifting… waiting… fading.

So please, always follow your heart.

Praise is sweet, yes. But don’t let the lack of it stop you from doing what lights you up. You are worthy...with or without applause.

And when no one praises you, will you lie on your bed forever and stop living your truth?

I hope not.
I hope you smile, keep going, and keep doing what you love...just because you love it.

With lots of love 💓
